Did you take GST & PST into consideration with the price of the Macbook? Hey, why don't you try walking around the street for awhile. I was walking to the corner store one day and found a crisp new $100 bill right on the street! :D (In addition to $95, $20 and a Game Boy Advance on other separate occasions).

Go on Jerry Springer

I'm not sure he pays you to be on the show.

I can't say for sure about Springer, but I do know for a fact that Jenny Jones did not when she had a show. Her producers felt that a trip to Chicago and a night in a hotel was compensation enough for going on the air and airing my dirty laundry and coming out looking like a tool.

Yes, of course I took tax into consideration.. I'm not an idiot! lol

Maybe you can just borrow from your parents or get an advance on Christmas/Birthday/etc. presents?

You can also start a website, put Google Adsense on it, and have a few friends click on the ads once a day. Given that many ads pay as much as 25 or 35 cents per click, you can probably get the money in a month or two (less if you have lots of friends).

Yes. So I had to lie a lot when I filled out my application for donation (like everyone). So basically the stuff I had to lie about on the application was no drug usage (just mary j ;)), and having "sexual relations" with another man . No big lies in my opinion because they test my blood like everyone elses, and I know I'm clean. Anyways I donated their 2 times no problem, and when I went in for my third time I signed in as usual, but some guy pulled me into a separate room and told me they aren't going to let me donate anymore and are putting me on the donor deferral list, because some "reliable source" told them I've have had "homosexual relations" (which is true, but I told them otherwise), when I asked them to reveal this source, they told me they weren't legally allowed to say... so end of that source of easy income. :(

It's okay I am lucky I got to donate at all.

This is exactly why we don't pay for donations in Canada!! What were you thinking man! :(

You cannot! Put others at risk by lying to a blood bank. 2)They test for pot at blood banks

Number 2 is untrue, at least for my work. There is so much oversight they are all the same. If we don't do it, its not required nationally. Blood has to be prescribed so it falls under the FDA.

You are not putting others at risk with donating being a homosexual, this is even being tested now. I believe the FDA nearly passed it being okay for gay people to donate. All blood is tested beyond what you can imagine. Only thing is they want to screen donors out that may be positive, because testing is expensive. Testing is done by pools, so they take multiple donors, combine them, then test. One positive? Work them all up. Eliminate the positive unit and testing gets cheaper and saves money.

Sorry to detract. Go make some cash OP.

What a cool, informative post. And you didn't come off all know-it-all-either!

+ 1 for you :)
