Same here. The only thing I got out of them was November sometime. I just hope it's better than my late 2011 MBP
I also got in on the Amazon base model MBP "deal" for $1139.92 last Friday (still no ship date). But since then I've played with this model a couple of times in the Apple Store, and I'm having second thoughts. Since I sold my 15" MacBook Pro last winter and bought an iMac 5k, I have been using the 12.9" iPad Pro as my "laptop". I didn't realize how attached I got to iOS, and the slim and light form factor of the IPP until handling and using the new 13" MacBook Pro demo unit. (I also discovered, much to my surprise, that the space gray color looks rather drab in person -- at least in the Apple Store lighting.)
The IPP handles virtually everything I need to get done while I'm on the go. And truthfully, anything that It can't, can wait until I get home to my iMac.
A great deal is no deal at all, if you're not gonna get much usage out of it.
I'm going to sleep on it tonight, but I'm seriously considering canceling my order.

If you do up to you but might wanna still keep and resell it to make a buck and still make someone really happy for sub 1500 pricing. Just a thought

Just so happens I am. Could net $150 - $200 profit to go towards an Apple Watch for me! (Bought my wife one last Xmas.)

Couldn't stand the suspense...... I called Amazon. The rep told me that Amazon would have the MBPs in stock on Monday, and that I would receive mine by 8PM Monday.

The CSR doesn't know any more then whats on your order page. If it says Monday there then youre good!
I know it doesn't help that I am bumping this thread but, can we please close this thread so the others like me don't feel awful for not jumping on the amazon screw up?
Who am I kidding, congrats to those who benefited. For me I will wait and see when the touch bar models are all about when they hit stores, then decide. For now, for my uses, the rMB would be great. That touch bar does look cool though. Not $500 cool though?

Don't feel too bad. If, when the Touch Bar models come out, and they tun out to be really amazing, those of us who jumped on that Amazon mistake "deal" may come to wish we had waited.
