Yeah, see this has the teen-girl color scheme, but it looks far more polished, coherent, and consistent.
Dumbest statement ever , works great on my iPhone 5 , and after using it for almost a week (registered developer ) ill never revert back ...! Very happy with what was done . And Xcode 5 is a big step up as well ....
Dude, pretty sure they know this stuff...To me all the icons look like they are in the wrong colour space and totally blow out and too bright.
Knowing that the print department had a hand might suggest the colour pallette was from a process colour source not a RGB additive screen process.
Often in print bright colours work best but it's the opposite with anything displayed on a screen. I hope apple gets the colour conversions out and tames the eye ball piercing tones they have now. Please please please!
As noted yesterday by The Next Web, the current design is a "work in progress."

nope. your just dull and dont see it.
The fact that you are on here moaning about an obvious bug in beta software tells me that you shouldn't be running beta software at all. If you were in a position where you needed to run beta software, you would know that this is something that will be fixed. The amount of whining on here is incredible.
How do you get to the point where you have to fix it?
Unless you expect pre-release beta software to be perfect, I don't understand your question.
It's more like internal pre-alpha software in that respect.
If you're saying that because some text overlaps an graphic somewhere, whilst ignoring the huge amounts that has changed, then I disagree.
Okay, you could say that it's too soon to judge iOS7 in it's beta stadium. On the other side, Apple is showing presentations on it's own website like this is what we'll get. Don't be surpriced when Apple keeps this layout of icons. Maybe some minor restylings trough updates after the def release.
I don't understand what a flower looking icon has to do with photos. That needs to be revamped
Honestly I don't have a problem with the flatter icons, but do they have to be so colorless? It seems like more contrast is needed. JMHO
What would you have it be a photo of? If it was a cat, dog people would complain. Can't be a person because who would you choose? A photo of a flower is an excellent, completely neutral object that probably wouldn't end up being an icon for some other function. The reason it's a flower SHAPE now is to create a bridge from the old sunflower on the current photos icon. Evolution....
That flower sketch doesn't say photo to me. It like a thousand doodles I've drawn, not a photo.
Too bad you didn't design the iconsI'm confident that Apple will adjust things as they move closer to release. They're not submitting iOS7 to developers 3 months early so that they can ignore all their requests. Some app icons seem to have been universally rejected so they'll be getting a flood of feedback on them.
The camera app is one of them. If they're going to drop skeuomorphism, then don't take half measures. Get rid of the old camera metaphor and use one that better represents cameras today: a lens works well.
I like this one for the camera...

... and this one for Safari...
