Any suggestions for an alternative to the Apple Silicone case? I really liked it, but it started peeling and too expensive IMO.

Prefer my case to be

-Thin (The thinner the better currently using Caudible Veil)
-Rubber/Silicone (Although preferably less sticky than Apple's case)
-Some sort of lip for minor screen protection

If you're already using the Caudabe Veil, check out the Caudabe Sheath. Sounds like it's exactly what you're looking for. I used to have a Veil and switched to the Sheath, haven't looked back. Provides much better protection than the Veil and is still pretty thin.

@tirexstorm , Incipio NGP is slightly thicker than the Caudabe, but has more protection and more of a lip. Not sticky at all.

There's also Tozo (some say better than Caudabe), Diztronic (usually <$10), Spigen Slim Fit (a reputable case from a reputable company), Power Support Air Jacket, Zoogue, and more.

Also, this thread might be of help:

None of those options, other than the NGP, is rubber/silicone though. I don't think OP wants the thinnest case, just something slim that provides protection.

The NGP is decent, but turns yellow over time and is too thick for me. I'm a former Caudabe Veil user too and got the Sheath when it first came out a few months ago. Still using it and still enjoying it. Has a lip to protect the screen and is way less slippery than the Veil. I've dropped my phone at least a dozen times since I've had it and it holds up really well.
