Alternative to Satin Speck cover??

Hi,

I just purchased this Macbook

was set on purchasing this skin after research:

however, it seems it won't fit white macbooks? i always thought color didn't make a difference to proportion..

are there any alternatives if this won't fit my model.. i prefer satin touch to the hard shell.. i only found 1 other alternative on amazon but they have no reviews for it..

most everything else is hard shell, and i want satin.. thanks so much.

another question, i found Macally skin for $18..

however, reviews say it doesn't fit the NEW version (curved) of macbooks..

is my model a "newer" version? thanks

the aluminum macbook and the white plastic macbook aren't the same size.
the white one is a little bit smaller. even though you can't really tell by looking at it in person.

I have a Macbook that is a late 2006 model and I have been researching Satin SeeThru Skins, but they only seem to have them for the newer models. Are there any Skins that are similar to the Satin ones that will fit mine?

I would go with incase since they make a frosted (matte) color and a clear one too or white.

Check eBay... lots of older model Specks (I had to look close and hard to find a Speck model to fit the new MBP).
