Strange, I'm getting 37s (to wireless reception) on my 2GZ Santa Rosa with a 7200rpm drive.

I was assuming you had one of the new AlBooks which I would have thought booted quicker.

Like I said before, my old White Core2Duo 2.0 booted 13s quicker (25s) but your Santa Rosa boots more or less in the same time as my Alu so how can the old ones be so much quicker booting than newer models? My old one is a lot quicker that your Santa Rosa and yours is a little bit quicker than my Alu...

Well that's why I said it was strange. I did get a really fast drive from OWC. Best I can figure is I have kept mine pretty trim as far as processes that have to load. I only have GrowlHelper and FontExplorer as startup items and LittleSnitch is the only program that launches. I still have 50GB free, which I'm sure helps.
