I dont mind the hinge because it means i get good wi-fi radio signals and it kinda looks good to me. That black border around the screen however...

...reminds me a little too much of this

i actually love the black hinge, and the keys, the black bezel though i think is too much.

Yeah, all of the carbon fiber and metal. Is that what you were going for? Because that isn't cheap plastic on the back of that Ferrari.

the black hinge annoys me when it's closed, already annoyed ever since i got it: 'hmm... sleek... wait, what the heck is this??'
 
To the OP: I could not agree more with you. In my opinion the Macbook is the best looking laptop on the market but the black hinge is a mis.
 
I like the black hinge. It makes the transition from the display to the bezel to the keyboard moreof an even transition. No big silver partition to distract your eyes. IMO

I agree. I like the black on the inside. It is on the outside that I thought was a little odd.
