I don't know what you guys are doing with your watches, but I've had a space grey sports watch for a year and it doesn't have a single mark or scratch on either the body or the screen!
Haha same. Wear my aluminum S2 all day, work out with it, cook with it, etc. I've definitely bumped it against things, but still looks good as new. Unless you're out to destroy it, I don't think you need to worry about anything.

I think the 7000 Series is highly durable, that said, when it does scratch, it's permanent.
 
I've banged it against all sorts of things, and I keep hitting the metal frames when I sit at tables and rest my hands on my legs. Still looks pristine.

I really appreciate the durability of the Apple Watch. It's understated to say the least.
 
Swapping my Aluminum for a Stainless Steel. Have a couple of scratches on the aluminum casing.

Nice decision. The aluminum once scratched is permanent and the stainless has be ability to buff the scratches out.
