Ok, I just saw on the website that the back-lit keyboard description was removed from the entry level MacBook. I called Apple and they confirmed that this was indeed a mistake and that this MacBook does NOT have a back-lit keyboard. The CS rep told me that they've been receiving many calls about this from disgruntled customers. Well, they offered me a $100 off my order for me troubles. I'm not sure if they'll offer this to everyone who ordered yesterday. For me, their records showed that I called several times yesterday to confirm the back-lighting and I also had screen-shots of my order pages and online chat session all showing that I was given wrong information. If you did order yesterday though, it wouldn't hurt to call and complain and see if you can get $100 off!
