Am I Being Spied on Remotely?

I opened Finder to look for a file in my Downloads folder when I noticed this under Locations to the left...

I can't find anything online about what it is, but it asks if I want to connect to this server when I click on it.

Any idea if this is bad, anyone?

It's a computer on your network. Both my Synology and my Windows laptop show up with the same icon. If you don't have any other computers on your network then time to change the password.

Could be your router as well. Most come with a USB port for additional storage these days.

Really it could be any device on your network capable of file sharing.
