You won't, Mac can use PC mouse. However, TrackPad is the feature. Apple's TrackPad are amazing!!!!

Will Lion still allow hot corners like SL does?

I will stick with my Logitech mouse, but it seems Lion is all gesture-obsessed, which I don't mind, as long as I can still have hot corners to assign to some of the functions that can be performed by a trackpad which I will have to do with my mouse.

Interestingly I've liked the Apple laptop trackpads but found myself always wanting a mouse. I bought the magic trackpad for my HTPC and ended up stealing it for my main machine. I happen to love it, have you tried it? I feel it's a very different experience.

I used to hate trackpads that is 1 of the many reasons I have never owned a notebook for more than 30days. But since building my media pc a few years back I have found my logitech bluetooth keyboard with built in trackpad invaluble maybe I'm getting lazy but when lying down on my sofa I would have no where to use a mouse now I can have 1 hand on the keyboard and the other on a nice coold beer. Happy days. lol

Coming from 12 years of Thinkpads here... I hated track pads. But the apple pad is different! Give it a shot, it really grows on you.

I actually love the trackpad when I'm just doing general browsing and whatnot on the MBP. The gestures and multi-touch really do make it alot smoother.

I still have a mouse I'll use when I need more accuracy, drafting/plotting, gaming, etc. But for everyday use, I think the trackpad is fine. My main issue with using a mouse constantly is that it chews up one of my USB ports, and as I work on a ship, real estate in my cabin is at a premium, so I really don't want a big powered USB hub taking up space/power plugs just so i can plug in my external HDDs.

But as has constantly been stated, it's all personal preference.
