When I posted this, that was the plan! Then Verizon offered $200 off the iPhone 7 so I got the 128gb iPhone 7 for $549.
I have the Ringke Slim, which is nearly identical to the iPhone 6 version. I’ll get the saddle brown Apple leather case also, so I’ll pretty much have the same two cases that I’ve had for awhile. I prefer minimalist style cases so if you have any recommendations, I’m open to suggestions!

I had over a dozen cases for my 5s. I've had my 6s since February and am still only running one case, the Magpul Bump. Oh, I still find myself browsing the department stores looking at other cases, then I pull my phone out of my pocket and say, why am I doing this, I like the Magpul so much!
I get the attraction to buying new cases though. Every time you put a new case on your phone it feels like you have a new phone.

Me too. the silicone cases are very minimal but gorgeous and grippy. it's hard for me to use anything else now, although I might want to try a clear case (if I find a good one)
Has anyone tried the newest clear case from Tech21? It looks nice and durable, but the price is very high for a clear case...

Sure wish tech21 would fix the flimsy bottom all of its cases suffer from. Otherwise it looks like a pretty decent case.
That’s the only thing stopping me from trying their cases again.
I have their Evo check. Nice case. But the flimsy bottom is a mess. It actually covers the speaker holes.
i like a case that can accommodate a couple credit cards and keep it simple.

Yes next year, literally, when I can walk into Apple store and get desired color and storage option in hand. Not falling for pre order Idiocracy again. Rather content using a 7+ daily and my Note 8 quite a bit with a little S8+ use.
