You aren't alone. I got the non-LTE watch as well. I have an iPhone SE that I take with me everywhere, I can't justify the extra dough on the watch and the additional monthly charge to my bill. I'm upgrading from an S2 Aluminum.

This article makes me so happy with my S3 GPS-only choice: LTE intermittent, expensive plans, drains battery... and I still don't know where I'd be without my phone but able to answer a call. And I've never surfed in my life.

"We spent a whole morning shooting video last week, with the Watch operating independently of the phone — about three hours of intermittent LTE usage. By noon, the Watch had drained to 30 percent. So I had to charge it later that afternoon, but that was still better than the experience I had with the first unit.

Over the weekend, I had my iPhone with me most of the time, and the Watch lasted from Saturday morning through early Sunday afternoon."

I don't have much interest in the LTE version, but that's the only way to get the ceramic back. What advantages does ceramic have over the composite back? I'm fine getting the $359 GPS version but want to make sure I'm not missing out on a ceramic back.

I think it's just more scratch resistant. that's it. and it can still scratch, though not nearly as much as the composite.

Also getting non-LTE. I'm never without my phone if for no other reason than iBooks. I'm a fairly avid reader and simply can't imagine not having my library with me. (In fact, this is also what made me finally get a 7+...the bigger screen size to read on.) Now if one day Siri can read to me while I'm away from my phone, then sure, I'd consider LTE. Also, I think it's worth waiting for the LTE battery life to improve significantly.

On the other hand, my wife forgets her phone all the time. I'm getting her the LTE version, but I think she's going to be disappointed by the lack of podcast support.

I ordered the silver GPS only one.

Never had a Apple watch before and hoping it will help me track my workout data. :)
