If yours has problems, go replace it. It doesn't cost you anything and it will mean you get more money for it when you end up selling it a year or two or three down the line.

Got mine on the 19th July and has worked just fine since day one.

Proximity Sensor issue can be annoying at times but I know Apple are on the case with this and I have got in the habit of holding it in a way that minimises the issue.

I got mine with the 1st batch shipped (i forget the day, but it was a day early where everyone was going nuts over fedex delivery status). I haven't had any problems, but must admit i have been incredibly paranoid reading about other peoples problems.

Got my week 23 factory 88 iPhone 4 on 23rd June, and still have it. 😉

That doesn't mean my phone is "perfect", but I'm not a picky person. Nonetheless, you should return/exchange your phone if you're not satisfied since you'll be sticking with it everyday until your next upgrade.

Here's what my phone has:
No to rattle when shaken.
No to yellow blob/spot on screen.
No to dead/stuck pixels on screen.
Yes to green/blue blob on pics in fluorescent lighting.
Yes to reception/bar drop when deathgripped (very slight, not a big prob).
Yes to proximity sensor problem (when in brighter areas).

Returned it because of the antenna problem and did not get a replacement. When they fix the design flaw I will buy again.

If it doesn't bother you, don't. It's enough that they have to replace the ones with a hairline scratch. I still have mine from day 1, would never return it. If it breaks, I'll just buy the parts from Apple.

Guess what Apple doesn't sell. Parts.

Although I didn't purchase my iPhone 4 on launch day, I have not experienced any of the problems the media says has plagued the phone. I've had no dropped calls. The screen is absolutely phenominal, with no issues whatsoever. 110% happy with it.

I hate when people say (mikizee) that every iPhone has this or that problem, because they don't. Sorry yours does and maybe it's just the way you make yourself feel better about your iPhone having problems but they don't ALL have issues.

Got mine the day before launch via Fedex, no yellow at all neither spot nor tint in pictures, ABSOLUTLY no rattle near the lens of the camera, that one would drive me crazy and no proximity issue. The only issue I have is with the gap and the antenna and its not that bad. I have never even put a case on my ip4 and it's amazing.
