I was just browsing the forums when I looked at my mouse. I found I used it at a very odd location. I'm holding my mouse behind my computer when I use it. I took a picture so you can see where I left my mouse when I came back to the keyboard to type this. I don't use my mouse like that anywhere else, pretty much just when using my mouse with my laptop? Is this a weird way to use a mouse? Just curious what you guys think.

I also apologize for the camera quality; it's from a slightly damaged iPod touch.

EDIT: *NO* idea why the photo is sideways.

I don't think there really is a "correct" way to use your mouse. As long as your hand, wrist and arm is relaxed, comfortable and not experiencing any sensations out of the ordinary, I don't think you need to worry. :)

Yes, you are using it weirdly, I think, but it doesn't really matter, if it's comfortable, that's all that really matters.

I'm guessing that you probably do that because that's how far your arm stretches. Looks funny but nothing to harp on.

I once worked in an Internet cafe and found a user holding the mouse on the screen to click.

Not a word of a lie.

That is seriously disturbing, my friend. You should get help immediately before it is too late.;)

    Mice are soooo last millennium...

...I myself have a bumper car I drive around my office that controls the cursor on the screen ;)

My dog has a direct connection to my computer. I put treats in different parts of the room that corresponds to where my folders are on the screen.

Coming from behind ... hmmm. Anyway, I once knew someone that used their left hand to move their mouse. Now that's weird.:)

These images show the correct way to hold your mouse.
