I didn't start a ticket, but the shipping feedback link I used was tied to a particular order. I'll try the Bezos thing next time, if there is a next time. I've really had only a handful of bad packaging issues.
I've only had one or two bad issues since I began using Amazon more and more in 2009. They once credited me the purchase price and told me to keep the stuff because it was very late. I was a Prime customer then and I had ordered before Christmas, way before their deadlines and it barely got here the day before Christmas eve.

I do not want to derail this thread, but HEB now delivers in my area (not sure about others), and it is great. They have people that go into the store and hand select your items. I plan to keep using this until Amazon Fresh is near me.

Did those items show as being in stock and available to be shipped right away? Prime applies to the shipping itself (as in 2 business days once something has bene shipped), not really the product availability which can be different for different products.

Yes.

It's an intentional tactic to get around the "Prime" filter. I guess Prime shipping only applies to once the item is shipped. Not how long it takes to ship.

I'm also seeing external vendors placing abnormally long shipping times. Then, allow you to "upgrade" the service at checkout. What's wrong with that? Well, the estimated delivery of two weeks was bs. The package arrived two days later with no "special shipping."

Well, I've had another "cannot ship to this address" issue from Amazon -- this being for a Netgear 8 port switch, not exactly a large, heavy, or hazardous item. I bought two of these before and they were shipped here without incident.

I had two chats, both completely useless. The reps pasted in shipping boilerplate and nothing I could do would make them recognize that Amazon has been shipping large and small, heavy and light items to this address for years.

It's frustrating because I do depend on Amazon shipping. Ugh.
