What's incredible is people believe these are good deals because Amazon says so. I've never seen anything listed on Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday, or Cyber Monday that was anywhere close to the lowest price per camelcamelcamel

I just got a screaming good deal on this Blink camera 3 pack. And I got a fantastic deal on a GoPro last year. Both beat the lowest historical price I could find.

I have, but you do have to watch closely to make sure it is indeed a bargain and watch the quality as well, sometimes there are similar products to what is being offered on these days that is indeed cheaper normally, but not as good of quality.

Change that. Their prime page is down. Amazon customer service confirmed. Just cycle between the 'all deals' page.

Well done amazon.

That's assuming you can even get past their landing page. They've got some kind of gnarly trackers installed that just reload a blank screen on both Safari and Firefox.

The Amazon app is acting a little wacky, too. Keep getting an error page.

You can still search - but main home page - quite embarrassing

Looks like Amazon didn’t account for the traffic increase...

On the app it tells you an error occurred, on the web it gets you stuck in a UI loop that doesn’t indicate an error, but still shows no products.

Well, the home page itself seems to be back online -- for the moment -- but several of the links directly off of the current home page are still returning the error page.

Clearly, someone is beet red, right about now...

Was gonna buy some stuff over the weekend but decide to wait for Prime Day. Every item in my list is more expensive today than it was on Saturday.

No surprise. I am sick of over hyped news and services. Really starting to tick me off. Great deals on blah blah day get 4% of blah blah blah instead you get better deals on unknown days where the news mentions crap about it.

I get the best deals finding them myself on any normal day.

The ad graphic looks so juvenile, and I have to work. I guess another Tech Company run for and by kids. Think I'll just stay off the internet today.

while i dont doubt their are deals, like most "shopping holidays" most are not.
eg. last year there were over 3000 deals after anaysis only 61 were found to actually be deals

Yup, I am getting the same thing right now on my phone. If you hit try again, it cycles through different dogs! :D

As a Prime member, I was looking forward to Amazon prime day, but unfortunately I didn’t find anything specifically for me. Really, it’s like a Christmas in July sale, but just trying to sell overstock of a lot of items, but some may fine what they are looking for.

Scrolled through 95 pages and still nothing attracted my eyes so far...
And to make it more awkward, there were over 8 pages of the same undergarments...

Personally, I'm not buying anything today in solidarity with the European Amazon workers on strike this week. No judgment of anyone who is buying stuff on Prime Day, but thought it was worth letting people know that the strike was happening, in case that aligns with your beliefs. Here's a link to more info: https://www.vox.com/2018/7/16/17577614/amazon-prime-day-strike-boycotts

(And sorry to MR for not supporting the affiliate links today--some other day.)

Amazon is still down for many people. I wonder if they will do something for those who have no chance or opportunity to buy anything?
