iPod touch Amazon Starting To Ship!

I have cancelled my 2x32GB Amazon Order, they said they will ship today, but "Not Shipped Yet" was on the screen (I have a Prime account, ordered Sep. 3rd. :mad:).

Finally I went to the Galleria Apple Store in Houston and they have the 64GB only, so I will buy them there...

Best Buy is still selling the 3rd Generation, no news on when the 4th Gen will arrive... :( I assume Fry's and Walmart will be the same...

I ordered mine through Amazon because it was free shipping and tax. On the 32gb version, I am saving roughly $30 ordering it through Amazon rather than Apple, etc.
 
Usually amazon gives a shipping window (at least that's what I saw when I originally ordered mine), so they'll likely ship it out within the week if you were in the 14-21 window. I honestly wasn't expecting them to start shipping today anyway, just because they're giving out estimates, not actual ship-dates. Now, if they guaranteed you that they would ship it out to you on the 14th, I'd be pretty upset. Patience, guys.
 
Wow, another day of no response or change in shipping from Amazon. I don't think this thing is ever going to ship. I ordered back on September 3rd. Anyone get a shipping notification from Amazon?

I just dont get it why amazon does not have ipads, since apple store is shipping them in 3-5 days...
 
I ordered on the 3rd. I found a person on eBay that has the 64 gig for $425 shipped. Would you guys wait for Amazon or order from eBay? I'm getting anxious and struggling to wait.. Need advice.

Just found out my local Apple store has plenty in stock. Might have to pull the trigger!

I'm still all about saving some green... If I bought it at Apple it would be over $650 (I'm buying two 32GB)...

With Amazon it's only $578 - that's a lot of savings... and with that extra dough I can buy a square trade warranty and a case...

So even though I am anxious to get my hands on my touch... I have to be patient...

:(
 
I think Amazon will not be getting any ipods soon. Mine got push back to next week. Time for a second strategy.
 
Well I just canceled my Amazon order because I picked one up at Apple Store. Sure saving $35 would've been nice but I am too impatient! :D So someone just moved up in line.

Well I canceled my Amazon order. Bestbuy has them with store pick up. Yeah tax kills it compared to Amazon but no more waiting.

Damn. I bet they don't ship it out till like the 21st. Or they might move the date.

Mine still shows as not shipped and I ordered on Sept 3rd. What is everyone else showing and what date did you order?
