iPod touch Amazon Starting To Ship!

It should ship this evening...shipping soon = shipping within 24 hours, if you did 2 day shipping you will have it before the 28th
Speak for yourself, I am nearing 48 hours since mine switched to "shipping soon", and it remains in that status.
Update: An hour later mine is shipped, just under 48 hours since "shipping soon"
My Sept 3 order shipped and its here already. My Sept 8 order is like yours, its been stuck at shipping soon for 48 hours already.

One thing for sure - there is a clicking sound when recording video...
However, as seen on other threads, it does go away when wifi is turned off...
Mine hasn't gotten hot - which is good
And it doesn't seem to have any light leak issues...
If it did or does later, I will exchange it directly at the Apple Store...
Patience has paid off with Amazon, but if there were any issues, I wouldn't send it back to them because who knows when they would have another shipment - October? November?

I filed an exchange with amazon over my faulty ipod touch and they were nice enough to give me one day shipping. According to my delivery estimate, I should have it by tomorrow. On the other hand, though, if for some reason they don't send it out, waiting for the next batch may or may not be a good thing. Get rid of the quality control issues I guess...
My 64GB just shipped. Ordered on the 9th. Prime 1 day shipping doesn't deliver over the weekend I'm guessing?
ONe day shipping is monday-saturday according to amazon's website
Ordered on September 15 and was changed to shipping soon yesterday and today it shipped. It should be at my house on Monday the 27.

It was to have been shipped between September 28th and October 9th but they shipped it earlier than expected!
It should arrive at my friend's home in Michigan on the 27th via Amazon Prime then she'll ship it onto me along with some other items once she's received the payment for the postage and packing to the UK.
