Hi guys,

I just grabbed a 15" MBPr from Amazon Warehouse Deals (got it for $1580 shipped); I was wondering if anyone has experience with purchasing SquareTrade for something purchased "not-new" from Amazon?

Also; I assume Applecare is out of the question? I would prefer to go the Squaretrade route (since it covers accidental damage); but beggars can't be choosers.

Seems like a can't loose for them, first to get paid, last to be called. Either it covers manufacturing defects which apple already does for the critical first year or it covers damage, which many personal policies do. And then if you actually do need it, by the time you do, the mb is worth half what you paid and 'replacement value' has fallen.
