At least they made 150 million USD more revenue and margins were better than last year same time. Still it didn't help them to get from red.

They did not benchmark the FX-6300, which should be a better buy looking at the full article referenced given that the price continues dropping now to $57 at amazon.com and it's AMD's top selling CPU there currently.

Interesting software implementation in a game. It automatically reduces the detail level if the game detects that there is less than 6 cores. So every 4C CPU will appear to work better, but at the cost of Image Quality. It is independent over the details level you set the graphics.
