just got a Galaxy Nexus through my work. Makes the iPhone 4GS look like a kids toy

I went from the 3Gs to Android. Owned the HTC EVO, the G2x and the Nexus S. Finally went back to the iPhone 4S. It's so easy to get caught up in what Android has to offer, but in the end I think the email app is so much better on iOS. The apps are polished and perfect. I don't have the widgets, which I was down to using just a weather widget anyway. Love Siri. The iPhone 4S just has a much better response. It's more fluid and dynamic. Android feels clunky to me. Your milage may vary.

I'm predicting sales of 30,798,657 units. My earlier prediction was 30,798,656, but I think I might get my wife one for Christmas.

That's nonsense. If that was "almost a guarantee" then the stock price would be higher today.

It's not nonsense and if you knew how Wall Street valued Apple, you'd see that there are other factors involved with their view of Apple. But all the non WS analysts agree that the stock is extremely undervalued and if you run the numbers, a $500-$600 price range is more realistic compared to other similar companies like Google, Amazon, etc.

Here are 2 perfect examples about Apple and it's valuations. Horrace's is pretty spot on.
One from Dediu who summarized his takeaway from a series of meetings with buy side analysts like this:

"The consensus is that the value of future, unknown products is zero. Not only that but the probability that there will be any products at all is equally zero. Not only that but whatever Apple does to create new products is not perceptibly valuable." (See "Is Innovation Valuable?")

More Anal cysts. Yay! Thank you, Santa.

You do realize the implications of your comment right? Either a) these analysts are full of ****, or b) they don't know what they're talking about. If not, Big Money™ would close the gap in a snap.

Addendum: i read your post as WS analysts. Changes things a bit. Leaving my post to offer my .02 on analysts in general. Heck, if they knew what they were doing, they wouldn't be analysts to begin with. They would all be billionaires, eventually. How many (prior) analysts are there in the 1%? Few?
