I purchased some over the ear Nokia BH-905i's off Amazon several weeks ago and have greatly enjoyed using them:

I've only briefly used them with my iPad 2 though. When using in bluetooth mode there is a sound delay on my mac pro, iphone and ipad when watching a movie.

I won't go into great detail except to say that I would highly recommend them. Oh and a few pros - build and sound quality, bluetooth OR wired, comfy, battery life, and noise cancellation.

I've been using Bowers & Wilkins P5's for awhile now. They are a very comfortable noise-isolating over the ear headphone designed for use with the iphone/ipad. You can find them at amazon and the apple store.
