iPhone is a great piece of hardware. Android has a great OS. Could we see one day a combination:an iPhone with Android OS?

Maybe the choice will be offered. Kind of like how Macs are able to run Windows.
 
Will Android outsell the iPhone? Very likely, just as WM and RIM devices still outsell it. So what?

Jobs has already said he'll be content with a relatively small fraction of the world market... similar to other Apple products.

There'll always be more choice with other devices. (Heck, LG just announced they're going to making 50 new WM-based models in the next few years.)

And there'll always be tighter hard/software integration with the iPhone than with openly available OS's.

Each has its advantages.
