Hmmm... Not as much as I've spent in the iOS App Store, but there's not a great deal in it. I suspect this little bit of the internet is skewed though. A lot of us, here, fall into one of the following categories:

- Former iOS user
- User iOS and Android.

In other words we're mostly used to paying, I suspect a lot of the low end Android users never download any app or content, unless the download is free.

Of course, I think it makes sense that the owner of a Galaxy S, or Google Nexus, will probably spend more, in the Play Store, than the owner or an EE Kesstrel....

As stated above, a lot has gone to developers, but that gets counted as an IAP.

P.S. Also just realized I forgot to add in the screenshots of books, magazine and music subscriptions.

I'll second the kudos to you as well, in that case.

I generally prefer to purchase paid/pro versions of apps as well, just don't find that I use an over abundance of paid apps beyond a core group.

I also don't purchase any video online as I prefer the flexibility afforded of buying blu-rays and ripping/encoding myself--don't want to be restricted to being able to watch on just specific devices.

I don't want to dig out and flash a device right now. :p

But... Probably less than $100 because I bought most stuff through Humble Bundles and Amazon's Appstore.

Compare that to the $229.75 worth of apps on my iPad Mini right now.

£243 on apps in 2 years. If I get an app I get the paid one and always donate to the developers. It averages out at ten quid a month which IMHO is very reasonable for the pleasure and help these apps have given me over the two years. I suspect that this will slowly come down as TBH, I'm quite happy with my "bank" of apps and once bought need not be purchased again.

£412.43 (694.66 US Dollar) devoid of any hardware beside the nexus 4 bumper! :D

EDIT:

Add another quid to that! :p
