Nope I won't spend so much money on phones anymore as the mid-range devices have caught up to the flagships this year.

I'm switching back, I have the s6 edge plus.. Completely over it. Another thing that drives me crazy are these emojis.

As nice as the new iPhones are, they just don't awe me like my new Note 5. From the hardware to yes, even the software, it's fantastic. Also, the Spen is great.

However, I use two phones and my work phone is an iPhone. So, if I can swing it with work, I will get a 6s.

It is better than CM12, but doesn't mean it's great. Sure, I don't get reboots and bugs galore, but I still have lock-screen crashes (forcing a reboot) and app crashes, more often than CM11. Lags are aplenty too. It makes the phone from enjoyable to use to be frustrating. And that is just the first year. With CM having bad relationship with OnePlus, I doubt things will get better.
Considering OnePlus has completely moved on and created their own version of an Android OS for their follow-up, the OnePlus Two, I'd say your assessment seems pretty accurate. A shame, since by all accounts the OnePlus One seemed like a great phone and definitely the one I would've chosen if I ever decided to get an Android phone (aside from the Nexus line).

Now is absolutely the perfect time to switch to Android from iPhone. With incredible new hardware, and a dedicated app dedicated to moving you across to the world of iOS, I honestly can't think of a better time to join the iPhone party.

Added to the minuscule number of Android devices running 5.1.1 in the time when Android M is coming out soon. the Android ecosystem is more broken than many people are willing to admit. Heck, Xiaomi, everybody's favourite underdog, released a kitkat running flagship in Singapore few months ago. That's just sad.

Just don't insert it the wrong way :)

for me I never found the pen useful.

I've been a looong time Android user (HTC Desire, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, HTC One M8, LG G4 and back to the Nexus 4 along with LOOOOOADS of Android tablets over the years), and I'm making the jump to iPhone this year, going for a 6s 64Gb.

I voted Yes because I'm most likely gonna come back to iPhone.

I am however gonna wait and see what the new Nexus devices are like. I love my Nexus 5 and would be tempted to get a new one this year but on the other hand I miss iPhone and think the iPhone 6S looks really nice.

I'm tempted. Currently on a Note 4 and getting frustrated with lagging issues. Will probably wait to see what the new Nexus devices offer and even what HTC and LG bring to the table before the year is out.

Mid range devices suck big time... Sorry to shatter your dreams but it had to be said

They suck to those that don't try them and need to justify that big purchase device. They have indeed caught up to some of the bigger brands and are surprisingly good in some respects. The days of these big flagships with incremental feature updates being all they can offer is starting to show how saturated the market has become.

When midrangers are starting to come with specs that are dawn close to what most would consider flagships as they are now will break the "I need the overpriced flagship" mentality people have today.
