Developers or at least somehow selected partners? Maybe a Super MARIO face (not for me but others?) and Nike faces for download when you install the running app? A Endomondo face? A cool couple of big brands could make a big difference

Like Hermes face...but i fear that any "partner" faces will be exclusive to those partner-specific products. :(

Yeah for brands like Hermes or other fashion brands, I guess they don't get anything out of branding faces without the added product (What does a normal AW have to do with the Hermes brand? Nothing really) But there would be a lot of other options, where brands could associate themselves with the watch through apps etc. - Carmakers could do the same when you download their app it gives option to install a watch face - ideas are many - so far the options very limited

I think the Hermes Watch face is simple and clean. But to me, it's just an added bonus when you purchase the Hermes Watch. But I would like to see more Watch faces with that specific style. I'm hoping Watch OS 4 offers more Watch faces. I wasn't all that content with what Apple released for Watch Faces with Watch OS 3.

Plenty of side bezels (as everything tries to be centered) and cutoff phenomenon...and this is Android Wear 2.0 on the Huawei Watch 2.

Hardware wise the round face speaks to a lot of people because of the centuries of round watches, but yeah - it really doesn't make any functional sense on a smart watch unless someone thinks of a brand new UI
