... why are you running in the road at all? Do you not have sidewalks, bike paths and running trails where you live?
I have to drive to the nearest trail. If I don't have a lot of time I just run on country roads, they don't have sidewalks.

AirPods aren't for me as they fall out of my ears very easily, when mine die, I'll be looking for a replacement and it is good to have options. also looking forward to reviews ...

Lots of people complaining about price but these are supposed to compete with $250 AirPods Pro. Lots of people complaining about looks but do you want them to just straight up copy Apple? At least these look different. I'll admit the branding on the side looks tacky so hopefully they fix that in the future, but that aside I think they look decent, especially the black, which you can't even get with AirPods. Will be interesting to see reviews, though. I bought some $50 noise cancelling wireless cans from Anker/Soundcore for my daughter to use for remote learning and they're actually pretty decent for the price. Cuts down on enough noise for her to focus, the battery life is good and the sound quality is fine.

I'm just proud of Anker and how far they've come. They used to just make Lightning and USB cables and now look at them. They make pretty good products for the price, especially for a lot of standard accessories, and they have really great customer support and prices. I look forward to seeing them continue to grow in the coming years. They've definitely gone from a lower-end brand perception to a mid-level brand perception, and I think they have the potential to become a higher-end brand within 5-10 years.

Hoping someone makes some high quality ones for like $10 or $20, its going to happen eventually

How about these for $69? Closer to that price range.

I get wanting to eliminate airplane engine noise and whatnot, but do people actually have noise cancelling mode on while jogging or walking around in public? I haven't been following the news... Do people not get mugged and attacked anymore?

anker is selling its product all around the world and a lot of people actually don‘t live in dangerous regions where you‘ll get mugged or attacked on the street. I sometimes put in my airpods pro and switch on ANC even when not listening to music, just to drown out low-frequency city-noise (they don‘t cancel out higher frequencies, so you‘d probably notice someone approaching). apart from that, if I was listening to music on in-ear headphones, I probably wouldn‘t notice lots of outside noise even with ANC switched off.

Black and Blue ones look really nice.
the “Soundcore” written on them looks kind of tacky to me though.
True.
I also prefer the case of the Air 2s more, this looks less compact.
However, being Anker I cannot wait to read the reviews. Hope this will be another home run for them (and new ANC earbuds for me).

I'm surprised Apple hasn't made more colors. I don't care much as I pretty much only use mine around the house since I work from home, but the pure white is kinda tacky.
I have often wondered what is Apple's thing with white plastic. It was fine 15 years ago.

I think that's a decision based in wanting to establish the AirPods design as something unique, to set them apart from other brands: Not a lot of other companies do the Apple white color (well, until everyone started copying Apple), and AirPods in black or red, or metallic colors quickly start to look quite a bit like other brands.

Both the Pros and regular AirPods borrow their underlying aesthetic from the original EarPods' iconic white design -Taking out the white takes away a lot of the defining characteristics of the classic EarPods design.

To me, the reason why the AirPods Max get to have colors is because they aren't really referencing the EarPod design in any noticable way and fall into a few aesthetic that Apple is also exploring with the newest iPads Air.

To me, even if these were to sound a bit better, I'd still rather have my AirPods Pro because of the seamless switching between devices. That to me is the biggest benefit over any other bluetooth headphones.
This, 100% -I've been shopping around, trying different non-Apple options to see if anything cheaper or better sounding would be a better option.

But I always end up not buying when I look into the Bluetooth pairing/connecting setup -The whole rigamarole of disconnecting, pairing, disconnecting, putting in pairing mode, etc., etc., is just too much to ask: It becomes almost as tedious as untangling a cord, unplugging it, plugging it in and then being able to listen.

It would seem like such a tiny improvement, but just being able to switch without having to first disconnect, wait and then connect is a complete game-changer for me. The newest "auto" switching for the H1 AirPod models steps this up another notch.

If there's anything out there that compares to Apple's W1 &H1 pairing then I'm all ears. But until then I'm in awe of how Apple has managed to fix one aspect of Bluetooth audio that seemingly nobody cared to do for some 10+ years.

Anyone who still thinks AirPods just became a thing because of the design going viral have not tried living with non-W1/H1 Bluetooth headphones!

Luckily there are places in the world where that is not a big problem

I agree it's probably a brand move, whether or not customers would appreciate some color options or not. IMO putting that much stock in the iconic nature of white ear buds is silly, and really a bit outdated at this point. How many years since the white wired ear bud commercials for the ipod? "Yeah Apple, everyone knows you make white ear buds. Zzzz."

That’s why you go out with friends or family member when going for a jog or exercise.

P.S, Please be safe out there if you guys decided to go out for whatever the reasons may be.

This is why I went with the Powerbeats Pro. The AirPods fall out of my ears too.

These Anker ones also look like they’ll lfall out of my ears.

Oh, who can help me explain this sentence, not so clear for me. o_O"The earbuds are equipped with PureNote Driver technology with 11mm drivers for "accurate sound and clarity at all frequencies."

headphone maker who must write "soundcore" on the headphones is no real headphone maker 😁
