Nice concept, but 70W seems low to me when they’re using laptop charging as a use case. Especially if you plug in two devices and are now stuck with 45/25w split which probably won’t even sustain a charge for many laptops.

Would love one with 4x USB-C ports (no type A), and around 140W (or higher) combined output including a good amount on at least one port when multiple devices are connected, so a Laptop is well catered for. Ideally I’d want enough there to power a higher end laptop, fast charge a phone/tablet and run two other less demanding device's, as a minimum. Better would be a laptop, fast charge phone and a tablet.

I agree. I’m considering buying this, but I’d also need to use the AC outlets, which feels less clean.

That said, if Anker made a version with 4+ USB-C ports and 140W+ total output (preferably 6 USB-C ports and 200W+ lol), I would buy it without hesitation. The form factor and aesthetics are ideal, this would be exactly what I want for my setup: clean, easy-access charging for my laptop, work/personal phone, iPad, keyboard, AirPods, hotspot, and whatever else comes along.

I’m certain Anker is reading this, so @ Anker, please make a high-end “Prime” version happen ASAP.

And for the love of God, kill the USB-A ports. They bring me physical pain to look at, and a charging-only device has zero need for them. If you must, just include a USB-C to USB-A dongle for the few people who really need one.

Hallelujah!

USB-A to USB-C adapters are... well, not quite "a dime a dozen" but still not expensive. This is just one example... that's not $6.99 each, that's $6.99 for a pack of four. I've put one on every USB-A cable I have left (stuff without a detachable cable - mostly LED work lamps or chargers of one sort or another).

This is actually cool. I like that it won't move when a cable is plugged in. Anker's other charging stations are cool, but they required two hands.

Or they just released a 500w version..

These are pretty slick, thanks for posting - I’m going to look into them. I still like the form factor of the Anker with the desk clamp, but these would do with a little double sided tape/velcro etc to secure where I want it. I’d prefer 1 or two more USBC ports (even though I’d never need to use them all at once… might have enough stuff to plug in if I wanted to and that would be cool though lol), These are about the best options I’ve seen so far.
