This shows up every day and it extremely annoying. I dismiss it because I don't want to upgrade, but that's getting tiring. Is there a way to permanently disable this popup whenever I go to Pages, Numbers or Keynote?

Thanks to another poster who put this up:

terminal commands to prevent iWork from nagging for upgrades:

defaults write com.apple.iWork.Pages TSADisableUpdateNotifications -bool yes
defaults write com.apple.iWork.Keynote TSADisableUpdateNotifications -bool yes
defaults write com.apple.iWork.Numbers TSADisableUpdateNotifications -bool yes

Yes, just use the new apps. There's absolutely no nagging, and they work perfectly well -- in fact, with more features than before.

Which new features?

I'm currently on 14.5 with upgrade notifications disabled, as I assumed there was nothing (free) new in 15. Maybe I'm missing out.

Those saying that the new version has no nagging are incorrect. If you try to use Autofill, the updates obscure the feature for a non-functional 'Magic Fill' which can't be disabled without going through four steps including an ad nag each time it reappears:

I'm sorry. I do not know how/where to do this. I am not too tech savvy. Could you help me out a little bit more as to where to put all this information? Thanks!

Warning:
One must be careful when using terminal. Typing in the wrong thing can cause unwanted results!

That said:
1. Open the terminal app (Utilities folder). Have the terminal window open.
2. Go to reply 2 of this thread
3. Copy the FIRST LINE (the first "command")
4. Paste it into the terminal window
5. Hit the return key.

Now, repeat that for the second line, and then for the third line.
Then, quit terminal.

(I'm currently on Sonoma and don't want to update MacOS just yet so this worked well to disable the nag)

To reverse this then - is it this? Just guessing....

defaults write com.apple.iWork.Pages TSAEnableUpdateNotifications -bool yes
