Another rMBP problem

Haven't seen anyone mention this yet but it's only the smallest problem ever:

1) Login to Facebook
2) Try to post a picture on someone's wall/timeline using your webcam.
3) Be disappointed.

Tbf I have only tried this in Safari, dunno about other browsers but it works fine on my other computers so must be a rMBP problem.
 
Can you elaborate what exactly happens after?

Is it the picture quality through the webcam?
Does nothing happen?
Does it crash/hang/start doing barry manilow impressions?

Try to explain more detail between points 2 and 3...
 
I can't click the "allow" button to allow it to access my webcam, making it impossible. Been bugging me for days!
 
Works fine for me. Try clicking a little below or to the left a few times. Can't seem to hit the radio button itself but it's definitely possible to select "Allow".

Minus the fact that you can't post a freshly taken shirtless pic..I assume this will work if you take a pic then upload.
 
It's a problem with flash I believe, I can't get any websites to access the webcam correctly in Safari or Chrome. If I boot xp in parallels it works through ie.

Maybe your rMBP is trying to give you some advice...

What a terrible, terrible problem. I'm going to the Apple Store right now to return my POS machine because of this horrific, unheard of issue. It's all Apple's fault.
 
Took 2 seconds to fix,

right click it,
global settings,
camera and mic tab,
camera and mic settings by site,
find Facebook,
change "ask me" to "allow",
refresh

Wasn't working for me when I tried the other night, at least not the sites I tried. I think flash needs an update.
 
Was just mentioning something that doesn't work properly, glad there's a workaround so I can get back to posting pics of me to Beiber fan groups.
