I know it's unlikely with no rumors or leaks about it but the emphasis on colors this "hashflag" and the AR animation make me think that, on top of AS, the new Macs will have greatly improved displays.

I’ve seen people wanting a redesign but, personally, I wouldn’t want that right now. New designs can come accompanied with flaws that need to be corrected in future versions (ie: butterfly keyboard). I’d much rather they stick with the current design that’s had enough time iron out its wrinkles. Plus today’s MacBooks look better than almost anything else out there and will continue to do so for a very long time.

Yes. Thinner, better use of space, I am sure there are several things we haven't thought of yet that can be improved. Maybe a Camera bump so we can finally get a great camera on a computer.
It seems Apple needs a reboot, and do what Steve Jobs did. Make it fun, revolutionary, colorful. Add color! Give us an ARM Bondi Blue iMac. It’s silly, fun, but will be in every school and home. Trust me.

I still have my Snow iMac (model 2001) standing on my desk. It’s definitely an eye catcher.
It’s still working great and was upgraded with an SSD two years ago.

Clearly this signals a return to the illuminated Apple symbol on the lid of the new ASi MBPs, in color, so everyone in all them crowded Starbucks’ can see that you have the new one and become envious. Brilliant!
No doubt one of the many marketing bros I went to school with. I just picked up a minor to go along with my design degree. Can barely stand those people.
I don't know what to think about the new chips, yes they will be faster and better in every way than Intel (I hope) but when will the software folks come around and make their product stable. (cough, Adobe)

Did you pay attention to Apples quarterly earnings a week ago? I’d say Apples ‘product’ segment and overall successes are doing just fine, and even exceeded expectations in a pandemic with a down economy. They’ve been ‘living up’ to the hype With some amazing products this last year and way more to come. So I’d say the hype is real.
