As others have said, S models usually get it right and don't have the same issues. This year will be order gate though. But it will be on AT&T and not Apple. Servers will crash, orders will be lost, backorders for months. These forums will be fun.

I'm going with either rose-gate or force-gate. Either there are going to be issues with the new rose color or issues with the force touch technology. There will be an unforeseen issue, mark my word.

We've all heard it before:

iphone 4: Antenna-gate
iphone 4S: Battery-gate
iphone 5: Scuff-gate
iphone 5S: Gold-gate
iphone 6/6+: Bend-gate

So, what loopy backlash do you think the iphone 6S is going to get? I think we're running out of things to complain about. Maybe something wonky with the new touch-sensitive screen?

The 7000 series aluminium is going to cost a lot more than the 6000 series.
Apple is not about to raise the cost of its most important product.
Which means, something will take a cost hit.
I'm guessing the screen.
The screen will not be as good as the iPhone 6.
Screen-gate.

Battery-gate and gold-gate? What the hell are these? I had both phones and had no issues. The S upgrades are solid ;)

Err NAND gate is a type of logic gate which can be either a diode or transistor

No no no no no. Sit down. Listen.

NAND stands for NOT-AND. It is a logic gate. A logic gate takes a set of bit-wise inputs and generates an output.

First, we have an AND gate. It has two inputs, both inputs have to be "1" in order for the output to be "1". If either or both inputs are "0", the output is "0".

Then, that output feeds into a NOT gate. This inverts the input. 0 -> 1 or 1 -> 0.

So a NAND gate is simply a logic gate with this truth tables:

INPUT INPUT OUTPUT
0 0 1
1 0 1
0 1 1
1 1 0

Have a nice day. :)

Uhhh what you said is the same exact thing I said. You have a nice day

The NSA will have hardware built into the new iphones in order to tap them. It will be called Interro-gate.

GPS receivers will malfunction and send you into the ocean. It will be called Navy-gate.

They will leak water whenever standing on dirt. It will be called Irri-gate.

People with space grey phones will be treated differently from people with the gold and the silver ones. It will be called Segre-gate.

AT&T will not deliver actual Apple iphones, but fake ones accidentally featuring a Huawei logo. It will be called Surro-gate.

The new apple flagship can actually be sunk by Samsung bluetooth signals. It will be called Fri-gate.

Ok now I'm done. For now.

Actually Siri-gate for 4S is plausible. It was horrible when released. What's more, they marketed a phone launch entirely around something that was in beta, and would remain in beta for more than a year before it quietly wasn't officially beta anymore.

If all of the rumors are true then about the only thing left to complain about is battery life. An easily solved problem given 3200 mAh battery packs are $10 but people will still complain.
