any 64gb iphone 4 rumors?

Well do you think you'll be needing more than 32GB? If not, it's not really a problem. If so, then perhaps waiting a few months isn't that bad.

It's a moot point. If apple HAD announced the 64GB version, it would have been pounced on for the high price point.
Your talking about the first iPhone announced 2007. But not even that was bumped in February if memory serves.

No, he's right. First gen iPhone came in 4 and 8, then they added a 16 a few months later. 3G launched with 8 and 16.

Probably so, but if you really want the 64GB then just wait. Of course if it doesn't come out then you'll be waiting a while potentially.
The 3G had 8GB/16GB from the start. It was the 2G that had a 16GB model released outside of the 'normal' cycle. 2G had 4GB/8GB, then the price cut in September, then the 4GB was discontinued and the 16GB added.

I was hoping for a 64GB model, but it is not that major of a deal. 32GB is still really not bad. And yes...they will be coming up with a 64GB version at some point in time. But why worry about it?
personally, i think 32gb is a bit lame..

i'm already about 90% full on my 32gb 3GS, and that's with selected media only on it...
i really thought and hoped 64gb would be a must... the iPod Touch has had 64gb for a while...

I believe a 128GB with 4G will come out in 24 months.
But we all know a 32GB iPhone 4 comes out the 24th.
So you are saying that Apple will break tradition just to release a phone in February with more storage space?
Ummm, no.
It wouldn't be "breaking tradition" - Apple did exactly the same with the 2G already.
I suspect this will probably be the case, but what can you do? Memory prices fall. Either wait or don't.

They did that because they only had one model being sold at the time. They've never had that happen since, so there's really no reason to do so.
The iPod Touch is 64GB because it has 2 memory slots, and the iPhone only has one. It seems that when there is a new size of microSD card coming out, then the iPhone gets updated memory. I haven't heard of a 64GB microSD yet. I'm not ready for the iPhone 4, so it's easy for me to wait for next years model with 64GB.
It'll suck when iPhone 5 comes out 12 months later too. What is your point. Upgrades happen. Deal with it or become Amish.
i'm in the same boat. i wanted 64gb. 32 is lame. however what i WANT is the 256gb iphone... until it's there i won't have ENOUGH for my music etc. so i'm going with 32 for now and then maybe the 128gb(god willing) iphone 5 in 2012. i was worked up like you guys about "just 32" but 64 isn't enough either so get an iphone 4 and enjoy it! i think waiting is kinda dumb as you never know what tomorrow will bring.
I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a 64 GB version unveiled yesterday, but I'll live. I'll get the 32 on the 24th and will love it until next summer, at which time I'll upgrade to the 64.
