i am on the fence about exchanging, I used the 6s went to the 7MB and am considering taking the 7 back and getting the 7+. I like them in store whenever i demo them but MAN they are HUGE!

I wrote this in another thread -

I have switched back and forth so many times between the 4.7" and 5.5". I think I started with a 6 plus, for a short period, until I couldn't stand how it constantly dug into pant pockets. Then sold it and got to a 6, and later 6S.

Just a few months ago, I gave my wife the 6S, and got a 6S+ to use in a trip in Japan. Loved it this time, since 90% of the time, I had the phone in my hand for google maps or Pokémon Go. The bigger screen size and longer battery life were very handy. My shorts also had large pockets so carrying it wasn't a problem at all.

Now life is back to normal in the Fall, and my usage is back to a normal (low) level; that is, I spend more time carrying than using it, in small pants/jeans pockets. Hence, I decided to go back to a 7 at launch. While it is pocket-friendly, I can't help but feeling the 7 isn't perfect anymore, like something is missing, or I somehow want more... The two months living with the plus has ruined it for me.

So I returned it, and now I have a 7+. I'm happy to get the big screen back. I even watched a few episodes on it last couple of days. But then just today, I ate at a bar with my family, sitting on stools with small tables. There was no space to put my phone on the table. It had to stay in my pocket, and was extremely uncomfortable.

Like the ancient Chinese said - there are no needles with two sharp ends.

I hate Apple

Not a chance, once you get used to the plus anything else will seem too small. By now after having the Plus models since the 6 came out I can use it with one hand, I don't have big hands it just was a change of how you shift the phone in your hand when doing so.

The lack of easy one handed use was a concern of mine, but bottom line at the end of the day most of the time I that I needed to use my phone with one hand (because the other hand was needed for something else) was a situation that I found I shouldn't be using my phone at that moment. For example texting while driving, because of the bigger phone I find myself not using my phone while driving or only using hands free with siri and dictation if I need to. So the plus was a win win for me, better phone and broke a 15+ year bad habit.

Coming from 6 plus, now I am using an iPhone 7. I have used the 7 plus for about a week and I found it is significantly heavier than my old 6 plus. My arms, especially my elbows, get sore when I use my phone on my bed for a stretch of time so I returned it. The size/weight of iPhone 7 is just right to me.

I have had the 7+ for almost two weeks, and I am nearing the end of the return period of 14 days.

I tried my wife's 6 for a few days and really liked the smaller size. I see the 7 in jet black is available readily and I'd choose that model. I'm having a hard time deciding because I think I'd miss the bigger screen and the camera options on the plus.

The battery is actually better on the 7 when you add the apple battery case, which I think (and I guess I'm in the minority) that it's a great accessory.

Anyone else?

I had my 6 Plus for two years and never really had a problem with the size. I have average medium size hands and have no trouble holding it, and it fits in my pockets. I originally went with the Plus size for the bigger screen, longer battery life and better camera (the 6 Plus had optical image stabilization while the 6 did not).

I skipped the 6S and while waiting for the 7 I had pretty much decided I was going to go with the smaller phone this time, not because I had any problems with the plus size but I thought it would be nice to have a lighter more "pocketable" device to carry around. But when I saw the keynote and that dual camera I knew I had to have it. It kind of annoys me that Apple offers some features on one and not the other. So I ended up with a Jet Black 7 Plus and I've gotta say, no regrets!
