Not really. Special teams wins out maybe. More importantly, college football kicks off this weekend! You know what I'll be doing.
I'll second that why? I'm really starting to wonder how deep your ties to bama acutally go. Why on earth would you...nm. I'll just ask why? There may be some logical explanation for it. Like your gf may be an auburn fan, I almost ran into that before. We didn't click so well. It was strange. We joked about it. Took subliminal cheap shoots at one another's team and never saw eachother again. I guess it doesn't help that I have the better of the two teams.

My dad is a college football ref. and I sold my tickets and made $600 bucks and got free tickets to the Auburn game

In all seriousness I'm not sure how well we will do with our starting running back out for the year. I believe the backup has turned out to be a true freshman. Ontop of that our passing game has never been our prime method of offense. How you can truely be expected to win a conferencr, let alone a national championship without one I do not know. Taylor has the feet, so I can only hope he worked on his arm on the off season along with the wide receivers.

I was at the Auburn game and Auburn did not look good. A last second before halftime field goal to go up at half against La Tech. That is not good.

Overall, a good weekend of football. Bad news for OU, losing Bradford for a couple of weeks, and losing their opener.
Florida rolled as expected, but didn't look particularly sharp. Kudos to CSU for fighting hard. That number 3 is a play maker!

Apropos of nothing, but a line of 70 is kind of unrealistic. Even Spurrier wouldn't try to put that many points on someone. Florida had second string players in before the halftime.

I'm glad Tebow went to Florida. If he went to Alabama we would still have Shula. I just wish he would leave.
Big holiday weekend of games and even better ones to look forward to this weekend. I can't believe the Oklahoma situation. Bradford has got to be kicking himself seeing as how many argued he could have been the #1 pick over Stafford. Coming back for your senior year and then getting injured is every players worst nightmare.
I also can't believe FL State blew their multiple chances to get in the end zone at the end. College football is all about the nail biting endings. Good stuff!
