I was very close to owning an iPhone 6 plus last year. However, I found micro scratches on ALL of my units so eventually I was sick of exchange I went ahead and bought a Note 4. One thing I learned from my Note 4 is that I dislike the size. Not regret or anything but I always prefer the App store and how smooth iOS is. So this year I'm buying an iPhone 6s. Are you switching from Android and which phone?

Im coming from a Note 4. Getting rid of the SD card was my last straw. I like the way the android software works, but I really like the hardware design of the Apple. I agree about the Android not being as smooth.

I pre ordered a 6s Plus 128gb.

Switched from iPhone 5 to Galaxy S4 (and now HTC One M8). Left Apple because of the small size of the phones. Really liked Android until the Lollipop fiasco. Very inconsistent performance after that, plus it's taking forever to get point updates (that may or may not fix memory leaks). Would probably be happy with a Nexus device, but Apple has improved a lot of things that I had complaints about- so I pre-ordered a 6S Plus!

It's just a phone that you'll use for a year or two. Life's too short to worry about things like this. Enjoy what ever phone you like, don't let the little cosmetic imperfections bother you.

This right here. I feel the same way. Google really messed up with Lollipop.

I'm moving from Galaxy S4 to iPhone 6s.

I don't know, I guess the lack of updates and software crashes & lag caused me to return back to the more reliable iPhone. I made my decision when my phone bricked and I lost all my contacts info. If it wasn't for a 2 year contract I would of probably bought the iPhone 6 last year.

I doubt I'll ever return to Android despite them having better spec phones, The iOS experience is much better.

I had an iPhone 4 then I went to a galaxy s4 because of the screen size. The phone is free in its customization but android in general isn't as smooth and snappy like Apple is. I felt like my iPhone 4 could had multiple apps and tasks better than the s4.
I pre-ordered the 6s plus and I don't think I'll ever go back to Android.

I've been using Android for 6+ years. Had an LG G2, G3, and now a G4, and I just pre-ordered the 6s 64GB in space gray. Phones are too large these days, and my G4 has awful battery life, looks cheap, laggy, etc. The only thing good about it is the camera, but in Snapchat it still sucks.

I want to get a phone that just works and has great quality apps.

Dude I don't know what's up with snapchat and Android, it's just entirely too bad. Makes zero sense to me.

Switching from the OnePlus One to the 6s(maybe the plus) when it comes out.

Tried switching to android a few years ago and went back and then tried switching again this year and want to go back again. I just really like IOS and how smooth and simple it is. Considering switching from a custom built computer rig to a mac too. We'll see. I like all my products to be the same if I can help it.

amm going too pay off my samsung note 5 phone i got 430 saved and then am going too get the iphone 6S 4.7" i hop i can saved up other 250 by OCT then i can do that by NOV but i be getting my next upgrade on a 2 year contrack so that way i can own the phone and not haveing too do the next thing wish i have on my note 5

My first phone I ever had was some old Nokia phone. My second phone was a Motoral RAZR. My third phone was a black berry and then I switched to an iPhone 3g. After that, I've used iPhone models up till the iPhone 6. I decided to try out android and got a Samsung S6 Edge. I've had this phone for about 6 months now and I cannot handle it anymore. I paid off my remaining 6 installment payments and upgraded back to an iPhone. I don't think I'll go back to android ever.

I know... It's great on some but awful on others. I rooted and have an add on let's me share photos, so I just take it with my camera and then share it to snapchat as a workaround.

I actually did the reverse. Had a 5s and was chomping at the bit for a 6s plus (two contract upgrades available)... then I saw the "free Note 4 with contract upgrade" promotion from AT&T so I took the plunge and am happy I did.

Of course I had heard all the "android sucks/lags/etc" on here already, but once I got the phone in my hand and disabled the bloatware (easy to do even if you aren't rooted) the phone has been an absolute pleasure and just flies. Haven't had any app or browser tab reloads and I normally have around 1.5GB of RAM still available.

The microSD slot and removable battery is great and makes it a true all day machine for me. The one handed mode and side panel controls are awesome for one handed use. My main apps have all been equivalent to their iOS counterparts. The only thing I truly miss is touchID (the swipe down fingerprint scanner on the Note 4 just isn't as convenient as the iPhones press-and-hold).

I keep everything sync'd with gmail. This way the contacts and calendar are there and they will just magically appear on the new iPhone.

I'm coming from a Note 3, which has honestly been a great phone. I was going to stick with the Note series and get a note 5 but the lack of SD and removable battery made it considerably less attractive. I also got a MacBook Pro that has been just awesome to use, so now I have a 6S Plus 64gb in SG preordered. Kind of wish I had gotten 128gb. Oh well :)

Coming from S6 Edge

Same here. Awful battery life, and without me changing some things in Dev. options, the phone felt lagging compared to Nexus 5. Samsung annoys me with inconsistent performance, gimmicks, removing SD Card slot, and most of all, rough depreciation.

S6 Edge (not even 6 months old) is going for $450ish for 32GB on Swappa, but iPhone 6 is a year old, and getting $430 for 16GB on Swappa! That is crazy.

Yep, I am coming from a Note 4 that I absolutely despise. I switched from the iPhone 4S to the Note 3, which was one of the best phones I have had, and then made the mistake of getting this hunk of junk and am dying to get back to a reliable piece of equipment! My phone freezes, locks up, deletes stuff, doesn't get notifications all the time, sometimes doesn't let me use the phone, and a handful of other issues. I cannot wait to get my hands on the new iPhone.

A fellow anime fan :). To be fair the S4 was a pretty laggy device, but all Samsung devices age roughly, but so do iOS devices haha. My iPad Mini first gen became extremely slow after iOS 7.0/7.0.1. It wasn't till 7.1 that I was able to even use Skype on it again lol. Now it's become my alarm clock and nothing more, as it just crashes. To be expected of a device with 512MB of RAM xD.

Go to dev options (tab the build number 10 times to enable it if you haven't already) and change transition times to 0.5x. That will speed up the Note 4 to nearly S6 and Note 5 levels (coming from S6 Edge). Honestly impressed with how well the Note 4 was, and it ironically has better RAM utilization than my S6 Edge does (using 2.14 GB of RAM right now, with nothing running but Settings, Hangouts (texting), and Chrome with 2 tabs. On iOS it'd be using like 700MBs RAM lol.

I'm currently on a GS5, it hasn't been the worst phone in the world but I was ready for something new. The Note 5 I thought to myself would be perfect. Turns out that was pretty disappointing (aside from the camera which I thought was great), TW irritates me and I just wasn't sold and Samsung seems to be trying to mimic Apple in every way.

Enter the Moto X Pure, great price point, pure Android, reasonable specs and a supposedly good camera (anyone familiar with Moto knows how awful they are with cameras). I couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger, I felt like I was settling for a lesser product. Even the Moto maker and the easy payment program couldn't win me over.

Stuck in a bind and finding myself unsure of what to do, enter the keynote from Apple. I found myself mesmerized by the iPhone presentation.

Hell with it...I'm gonna buy an iPhone 6s Plus 128gb. Why not? I don't suffer from blind fanboyism, I don't have Android or Samsung tattooed on my ass! I love technology in general...FFS i own a friggin HP Touchpad!

I own other Apple products like a MacBook and iPads and iPods, so why not add an iPhone?!

25th can't come soon enough.

As for Android, I love it dearly...I think it's a really great OS...with that being said, until manufacturers can get the hell out of the way of Android or until Google starts reigning them in and setting stricter standards....I just don't see any future interest.

Coming from a htc one m8 ...always had androids, but have always been an apple guy as far as computers go, and tablets. No real clue why I never but into an iPhone, other than the small screen size. Tired of having to root and spend time finding the right rom for my androids. Ready for it to work out of the box. Ordered a 6S+ 128gb. Can't wait.
