Don’t see where it says, not considered a trade in or not eligible for trade in credits if available.
Yeah I was told I would get trade in credits but I would need to have the device for 12 or 13 months.

Other consideration, they can always change eligible plans which may not be a good deal or what want. All carriers do that pretty much too when want you off an old plan.
I was looking at the Next Up Anytime plan, considering it for a couple of people on my plan. I'm on the IUP plan myself.
I'm normally very good at math, but am getting old so fewer brain cells active. My main concern was the credits. To get a 16 Pro Max on the Next Up Anytime plan, you have to trade in a phone still, right? And you get up to $1000 in credits over 3 years like usual. So, next year, to get the 17 Pro Max (or whatever it happens to be), you have to have made 12 or 13 payments, plus trade in the 16 Pro Max, & would still get a $1000 credit (assuming everything else stays the same)?

Can someone explain why you would want to upgrade 3 times in one year?
