Yes, I think Big Sur will be available on November 10th, with the new Apple Silicon Macs. Apple can't put machines for sale on the Apple Store without putting the system for download at the same time.
Well, the Apple Silicon Macs will only work with Big Sur so, at the latest, it should be released the same day that the new Macs become available.
My guess, though, is Big Sur will be released today.
Apple releases when it is ready, could be today or tomorrow. Has to be real soon. This is the longest, date wise, any Mac operating system has been in recent memory. My guess will not release today. Probably the end of the month like 26th November. If they shipped ARM Macs this Friday then probably they will release Big Sur on 12th November. ARM Macs shipping date is the key for releasing Big Sur.
Time on the weekend to freak out on what doesn't work or has moved, too. 😏Thurday is good, close enough for the weekend when you might really have time to update.
In the US it's 11/12 = NOV 12th , In France 12/11 = 12 NovembreWebsite (Apple) says 11/12 which I assume means December 11th? There should be an International standard for the date format.
Everybody gets it at the same time. whatever your local time about software updates on November 12th. There is grid I can't seem to find at tells you the times around the world it's released. In the US it's 11/12 = NOV 12th , In France 12/11 = 12 Novembre
I wasn't talking about the time but the date. See higher up in the tread. Someone was confused between 11/12 and 12/11 . US vs EUEverybody gets it at the same time. whatever your local time about software updates on November 12th. There is grid I can't seem to find at tells you the times around the world it's released.
