Here's a link to the original, color version with different size options. I did the black and white mod myself (I'm not on a retina machine).

DockMod > Actions > Toggle Free Mode.

A word of warning: if you enable this mode it adds "DockMod Free Mode" to all your dock app titles when you mouse over them. Some people hate this, it doesn't bother me.

I did that before, nothing changed at all.

Yes, yes, and yes. It said DockMod Connected, Enabled, FreeMode

Dock still looks the same. If it helps i did the transparent mod via terminal commands, do I have to change it back?

I'm not sure, but it's worth a shot. I had done a terminal mod that took the shine off the original dock (I'm not sure if that's the same one you're talking about), but it didn't affect DockMod. I would disable DockMod, remove the transparency, then re-enable DockMod. Otherwise, I'm not sure why it's not working for you.

Another thought: do you see the "DockMod Free Mode" label on your dock icons?

Yes it showed up DockMod Free Mode, I don't know what happened, is it clashing with obsidian and the nocturne theme?

That's a good thought, maybe it's the nocturne theme (it's not obsidian, I have that too). Last I heard, nocturne wasn't quite ready for the release version of Mavericks because the developer couldn't find a free black dock alternative (I'm guessing he didn't want the "free mode" text).

The right side of the screen or the right side of the bottom? DockMod definitely won't work (currently) if the dock is on the right side of the screen. Not sure about the right side of the bottom (if that's where you have it, put it back in the middle and find out).

Okay I got simbl to work now, disabled dockmod for the 20th time, turned off auto hide dock, and there it is. I turned on hiding again and it sticked.
