I did most of the betas of iOS 11. I wasn't happy with the performance on my phone by the final release, so I downgraded to 10.3.3 and plan to stay here for as long as I use the phone. Performance is just so smooth, snappy, and stable. There are pretty much no new features in iOS 11 I'd use anyway. For me, I'd rather have my phone stay super fast for years to come rather than get some new features and cosmetic changes.

Any other iPhone 7 users doing the same?

Purchased an iPhone SE Dec 2017. It's had to be replaced 3 times already.. (all due to defects.)
Most of these came with iOS11 and were pretty unusable when they were working.
Latest one came with iOS 10.2.1 .. which I intend to keep until I retire the phone Dec 2020.

Wish me luck. :/
