It's interesting to hear people's thoughts. I'm a 6 user who's been tempted by the 7, but I don't intend to upgrade. My 6 is still fulfilling all my needs flawlessly. I just can't justify paying so much for the improvements that the 7 offers, especially since next year's phone is expected to offer an even bigger leap.

Reference the bold in your statement. How so? Obviously the 'iPhone 8' is the next revamped iPhone after three generations Of the same chassis. I didn't intend on upgrading myself, until I realized I was due for an upgrade. When I actually received my iPhone 7 and 7+. I realized how many micro improvements and enhancements Apple actually implemented into the iPhone 7.

Aside from The biggest features being the A10, stereo speakers, haptic home button and Dual camera.

That being said, the other features which were improved, included the 3D Touch engine, larger battery, improved contrast/screen resolution (Highly Understated improvement), Optical Image Stabilization in iPhone 7 4.7, IP67X Water resistant, 2GB Ram, huge increase in speed with A10 Fusion, improved camera, Bokeh effect for iPhone 7 Plus (Exclusive).

To me, those were a list of the items that I feel really set this phone apart from the 6S and milestones from the 6.

Not to mention, the iPhone 6 seems to be more prevalent with touch disease affecting more and more customers every day. Hopefully, your iPhone 6 holds out until the iPhone 8. Being Apple hasn't responded to the issue.

I used to think like you, but I am in a point in my life where I decided to enjoy life to the fullest than be careful with my money, honestly, whats $70/month plan to enjoy a new phone for a year? Next year I will get the iphone 8 too (if I feel its worth it)

Obviously it's a personal opinion, and don't get me wrong, I think the 7 is a great phone, but it simply doesn't offer anything that I feel I MUST have. The improved camera is the only feature I find somewhat tempting. If I found that my 6 felt slow or that the display wasn't good enough then sure I would upgrade. As for touch disease, it may happen, or it may not. Time will tell, but as with most defects, I doubt that it's as prevalent as the Internet would have you believe. Once upon a time people thought that every 6/6+ would eventually bend too.

True, but there are things I'd rather spend the money on, or save it for. A new phone for the sake of having a new phone really won't bring me that much joy once the novelty wears off.
