I'm a 24 year old male looking to get a Series 2 Apple Watch. Honestly, the one that appeals to me the most is the 42mm aluminum silver with white sport band.

I've looked around and really only see women wearing this color scheme. I know it shouldn't matter...but any guys out there who wear this color scheme? Thanks.

That's the Watch combo I gifted to my father. He loved it. The white and silver combo is a really fresh, bright look!

It looks like trash, it's the model I purchased. Go for the Stainless Steel, when you start purchasing extra bands you'll quicky see why the satin finish goes wrong.

I have the silver aluminum 38mm Series 2, but swapped the white band for a black band.

The Apple Silver aluminum 42 MM Watch was my first Watch owned before upgrading to the Stainless. The Silver aluminum Watch is a really clean look and easily paired with any band.

If you are into white then wear it and be happy!

Hope you enjoy!

I bought the aluminium series 2 with white sports band. I made that choice before long before they came out. I don't like stainless steel and I like the white band.

I also have a white iPhone and white iPad, so a bit of a thing for me.

I bought a black band recently, but won't change the watch. I wasn't entirely sure it would work when I went to buy the band, but I really like the combo of aluminum and black.

Really it's all a matter of personal taste. If you like the aluminum case and white band. Get it. Your the one who'll be wearing it.

The silver Watch can easily be paired with any band. Very similar to how the stainless Watch can be paired.

I just bought an AW S1 Sport in Aluminum Silver, so it comes with the white band by default.

I didn't care for the "black on black" look of the Space Gray, and I can live with the white band. I'd prefer to have the watch have the color I want. Bands can always be changed.

Wear whatever you like , color wise. With that being said my OPINiOn is that the silver aluminum looked a bit cheap. Sorry that’s the best word. Something was off in the way it looked. Forget comparing it to stainless steel I evaluated it by itself.

I ended up wrh the space grey Nike version and have been very happy pairing it with all sorts of bands. Coincidentally I’m wearing it right now with a white. Here’s a pic. If you like the silver color go for it regardless of male and female color options. You can carry anything off with confidence but try and see the space grey and silver in person you may change your mind.
[doublepost=1508423159][/doublepost]Woah. I just replied to a thread from a year ago. Pretty sure the OP has a watch by now.

I’ve worn a silver aluminium series 0 with a white sports band for 2.5 years now and it’s still my favourite combination. Style is personal - if you like it, wear it and enjoy it.

I have series 2 silver Nike+ with White Nike band and I also have a Obsidian Nike band. Looks good to me.

I like mine a lot for casual use. It goes with so many bands - I like the Woven bands and the Nike bands the best.

If you like white, then wear white!

I have the silver aluminum with the fog band, exactly what I wanted and loving it.

Here’s the catch - I am a woman, so why am I posting on this thread?

Here’s why, my co worker (a man) got his black aluminum with the black band a week or so before me, after seeing mine he had the “nerve” to request an exchange with mine, touting the benefits of black. Lol

I told him, not a chance and to get his switched at the store.

So yes the silver aluminum is worn by both genders.

I have a silver S3, which I like way more than my space gray S1. Looks great.

I just can’t believe the OP is linking watch colour to gender bias! This is not a binary construct - as can be seen from the replies, if you like the colour, wear it. Enjoy your life and don’t worry about what others may think.

I purchased space grey but it seems to me more bands would go with the silver but I still prefer black.

I haven't seen any man wear silver Alum in the wild. I see many many SG on men. I don't think silver Alum is a women's color though. I do think you need to see it in person though. The silver looks like it's spray painted on giving it a textured look or orange peel look. SG has the least of that out of the Alums.

^^^ that.

Just make sure you check it out in person. I didn’t like it.

In terms of bands my SG goes with pretty much everything. I rotate between a Nike grey, white sport, red sport , red and blue leather loops, brown leather cuff, Milanese black, link bracelet black and they all look fine.

I’ve been wearing a 38mm silver aluminum sport for over two years. I mostly wear it with a black, brown, or gray band... but I also wear it with the light blue sport band it came with. The silver goes great with any band, and even after two years mine still looks new.

From what I’ve seen the space gray aluminum is more popular among men. I like it as well, but I will probably stick with silver for my next one.

Go for the white band as well, and remember that you can easily swap with other bands. There are great third party options that are much more affordable that Apple brand bands.

What I like about the aluminum models for the Apple Watch, is the really not gender oriented. Anybody can wear any color paired with any band. Same thing applies to their iPhone lineup, there's no one specific color for anybody. All comes down to preference of what somebody likes.

60 year old male, big firm lawyer in Boston. I have no problems at all with a silver aluminum Nike+ on an anthracite/black perforated band. Most of my other watches are > 5-digit mechanical watches, so I'm not a stranger to thinking carefully about what I put on my wrist.

I wear silver/aluminum watch 3 and I am 38 (male). Love it. Fog looks awesome with silver.

I just bought the fog rubber band from Apple for use with my SS Series 3. I have to say, I love the fog!
