it goes both ways. It is nice having the watch, so you do not have to pull your phone out of your pocket to check every notification. It is also nice to not have the watch b.c you do not feel like you have to look at every notification. For the most part, with the watch you always tend to look at the notification. With the phone in your pocket you tend to just let it go and forget about it.

With all of that said, I have worn a watch for probably the last 10 years, so why not make it a smart watch :)

Actually this test was done by one of the reviewers I believe even before the watch came out. His comments showed that the first day or so went OK but then he started wanting back more, and by Thursday he was "adjusting" the watch in its charger just to touch it.

Good luck.

I prefer to do my own test. Not to keen on reviewers. Going on my second day and after reading some of the update nightmares, I am glad my AW sits safely in my drawer.

Day 3: Wrist is feeling bare now, not sure how much longer I can go on for; I dropped my phone 3 times yesterday getting it out of my pocket to be greeted by Farmville friend notifications.

I doubt you will make it much longer but then you got your cows and pigs to keep you company.

did without mine for 10 days while waiting for out of service replacement due to broken screen.

Just the phone drives you crazy without a watch.

I missed it.

I've had my watch for 3 months and wear it all the time I'm awake.

When I updated it to the Watch OS 2 GM last week, it took about 2 hours and I couldn't believe how much I missed it during that time (it was on the charger as per instructions) - for me it's become an essential piece of tech
