Something is clearly going wrong at Apple.

It's not Apple's fault the Aussie dollar has been suffering. It sucks, but the prices will come down again as the Aussie dollar picks up again (after the Americans are done having a recession).

Since I'm Canadian, I guess I'll be taking full advantage of this once I move back to Canada.

Get one for me as well, eh?

That could take a very long while.....

The Americans (the whole world infact), are (is) not going to be finished with a recession/depression that soon...... :(

Omg Omg Omg!!!

LOL!!!
I went through the 5 emotional stages of a dying person with these new macbook prices in australia.
1)Denial, I refused to accept that this was the price and though apple was somehow trying to make a joke
2)Anger, i got sooooo angry at apple for raising the prices, how dare they!!!
3)Bargaining, I dunno if this counts but i though of a few things i could sell on ebay to make up for the cost difference.
4)Depression, I started thinking "oh i never get a mac it costs to much!" and got sad
5)Acceptance,Decided that $2600 for a high end aluminum macbook with 4gb ram and student discount is not a bad price. I'm gonna get one prob in a month after i have the mo.
YAHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
