I don't have any games on mine either. I've downloaded a few like the Simpsons one a few weeks back but they don't make it to my phone, I just don't play games.

I don't think the iPhone was designed for games in all seriousness. Any that I tried in the past were difficult on a small screen and with limited controls.

Not One Game

I prefer to save some news / tech articles in Readability for reading during short periods between appointments, while waiting in lines, etc.

I do game, but greatly prefer to do it from a console at home on the new 65" LED widescreen.

That's funny because i see tons of people playing games on it :)

Otherwise a blackberry is cheaper and does the job fine.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B179 Safari/7534.48.3)

How old are the ones suggesting a blackberry is what we should be using if we're not gaming on an iPhone?
I'm curious. Surely you can't be a grown man with some years behind you?

I dont have many games either; most games are pretty boring. Drawsomething has become quite popular, but that's all I play since it's close to social networking. Other than that I only watch videos, listen to music, and use productive apps.

Does anybody else agree that the games are rather boring ? ..

I have a butt load of games on mine. Which I think ends up being a waste at some point since the games that I actually play on a regular basis are relegated to a handful. I could definitely live with less but it is nice to have some in my opinion.

Why would anyone want a BB? I had one for all about 30 days and went back to the original iPhone. I gave the BB to someone at work for free.

Yes, I know tons of people use the iPhone for games, I don't. As I said in my post above, I THINK it's too difficult on such a device. I probably bought 20 games over the years and gave each one a try. Gave up on each and every one because it was too hard to play on an iPhone. Over the years, I have even lost most of those iPhone games and I can't get access to the account they were even bought under because it is disabled, not that I would want them back anyways.

To add, I just don't play games anyways, don't even have a gaming console at here at home, don't want one.

Every time the topic comes up, people can't believe it when I tell them I have no games on my iPhone. At that point I typically hand my phone over to them so they can see for themselves. Then they look at me like I'm from another planet.

Any other game-less iPhones out there ... or am I truly from another planet?

Don't worry, I have no games on my iTouch. I have Apps though but no games. Well.. To be truthful I only have like, two apps lol. 10GB/32GB is filled with music, and like under 1 GB is filled with apps.

If you're not into gaming and things, then why get an iPhone? You'd have been better off with a more average phone.

Uh, the iPhone is not all about games. Plus, it consumes too much battery life so it's a good thing the OP does not have games. My mom has an iPhone and she has no games on it at all. She only has the convenient stuff - like GPS, Notes, etc. I know you could say "well, other phones have the same and they're cheaper" but my mom, who does not speak fluent English, finds the Apple to be very user friendly and easy to use, so that's why she uses it. And their Apps are very useful and she has tons of those (weather app, Flixster, etc).

This! I never play games outside my iTouch, so I don't get why I would start. I've started downloading games on my iTouch (the popular games like Temple Run or whatever, Angry Birds) in preparation for my future iPad. I've played it, but I just... cannot get "into" it. I've never been a gaming person in my life though. I think that's a reason why I use a Blackberry (but they do have good applications). I did leave the games on my iTouch though even I don't play it. I think it's good to have a few games incase you get bored at a party and have nothing to do.

So you are saying that only people who play games should be buying an iPhone? Seriously? WOW.

I remember buying Monkey Ball the day it came out, an expensive game. I tried playing it and ave up after about 10 minutes. It's not even on my computer anymore much less on my phone. I even had a few people try the game at work and they gave up.

It's not surprising for someone not to have games. The iPhone was developed solely for gaming. It's main purpose was to simply be a reliable and efficient phone. In my opinion more power to you with less distractions

I have games on mine, but not quite sure which ones. Ever since I got the 1st gen iPad it kind of ruined iPhone gaming for me. Even running 2X on the iPad for an iPhone standard game works better. I like games like cut the rope where being able to be a bit less spot on with touches helps. But saying you don't need an iPhone if you don't want games... I'd like to see my old phone Razr allow me to be half as productive as this.

None on mine, just not what I like, so I am gameless.

Well that is all well and good, but one person's experience doesn't stamp what a device was designed to do or not do. Just saying.
