Just played through and beat Terminator 2D No Fate. SO awesome if you like those retro-style arcade scrollers.

The DF review of MSFS for PS5/PS5 Pro came out and other than a slight rez bump, it's basically the same.
Fairly disappointing to me. I'm not sure how well this console is going to handle a VR mode at some point.

The combat is like jumping into a bath of marshmallows.
Tried to get into it, as well as Ragnorok, and Demon’s Souls.
Nothing is gripping me.

I still can't believe I finished the original Demon's Souls. Put me off of souls games for what I thought would be forever.

Amazing game, but you really need to be in the mood to commit 😉.
I can remember leaving my PS3 on overnight with my character parked in a corner because there was no proper pause/quit-save.
I tried so many times. I can’t play it. I lose interest.
I hit that with Ragnarok also and put it to the side for quite a while. I when back later and finished it but thought the first one was much better.
I forgot what happened in the first one.
I do remember it outstaying its welcome, though.
The story is just so convoluted, I don’t even know what I’m aiming for.

nah, instead of stances you get loads of different weapons. Obviously it's the same general style of game, but people that say that it's more of the same, can say that about anything. "it uses the DualSense: more of the same"
I'm currently playing Claire Obscur Expedition 33 after a friend of me recommended it wholeheartedly when we were discussing GOTY-awards and stuff. And as an RPG-lover I can understand why. For a small studio, they sure did a great job with that game.
Finished Alan Wake Remasterd and Dead Island 2 during the holiday break. AW had an incredible atmosphere and AW2 is in my library and will play it somewhere this year without a doubt. DI2 is just a lot of fun, the story isn't worth much, but killing zombies in so many ways in "HELL-A" (LA) is very entertaining.

Got 5 Pro summer last year on days of play sale. Traded in my original 5 I got a year after it first released. Paid 450 before tax and with I think 100$ off (or maybe it was 50) because of the sale. 200$ trade in credit for old 5 = not bad! Had 4 controllers traded in to Best Buy (one of em had. An unresponsive button but BB still took it). Used that credit to buy the disc drive for 5$ lol. A second controller (metallic green - go Celtics!) instead of 75 was 55 so made out well I think.
Only reason I got it was for GTA 6 and I’m not big on GTA online but the world/ characters are always a blast. I love how rockstar and Sony are good pals so then teaming up to bury Xbox even further will be fun lol (speaking of, Xbox wow…cod seems to have been obliterated by battlefield last yr this yr it’ll get ruined by GTA and maybe battlefield DLC or something then next year maybe rockstar times GTA online or DLC to further annihilate Xbox…just wow).
Upgraded my TV from a 45” 2011 samsung LCD (lol) to LG 65” on sale for less than 1k. I’ll be set for years don’t even care abt PS 6. Right now finishing up Watch Dogs 2 (skipped 1), Mafia 1, LAST GUARDIAN (beat it on ps 4 really good, even better with no patch 60 frames) and Spider Man 2 and Arkham Knight plus a few others. I go like one checkpoint at a time so it takes me a while lol. I don’t mind, I have lots of other really fun hobbies I’m into.
What have I beat on the pro? Hmmm last of us 1 remake was real real good. Beat it before but the remake was a great way to re-experience it. Looking forward to playing FF 7 rebirth on it and yeah Ragnarok is a meh. I’m still at the beginning and no real incentive but the graphics are awesome. Those first couple bosses look great and spider man 2 also looks amazing.
Virtua fighter 6 and GTA 6 and new kingdom hearts will be really good, also Wolverine. Not looking forward to much else. Haven’t bought COD in years and not into sports games except got madden this year only cuz it’s the first one for current gen only.

Sadly I couldn't buy a Pro. It is just too expensive in my country to justify the purchase.
Ended buying a Slim with 1TB of storage. Good looking console, yes yes, and really like the size (brother's far PS5 is insanely big).
Went to PC after selling a Series X and man, I regret the decision. The comfort of just hit the controller button and turn on the console/TV is just unbeatable. Also, I understand that I don't like to play on a desk.. much less after a long day of work.
About games, playing Helldivers 2 again (it should have cross-save) and Snowrunner. My brother has a PSVR 2 so maybe I will play RE 4 again on VR. Really good game
