I had to quit the game for 10-15 minutes after the scene in the cabin. Couldn't believe what just happened. Crazy how much a game can touch you. Problem for a lot of people was, that it hurt them so much that they just couldn't and wouldn't appreciate the other point of view of the story. It took me a while to accept this but once I did, I started to appreciate what the developers had done: taking a story a game to a level never seen before in any other game.
And on part 1: first game ever that made my eyes water up. End of the game when Joel is driving away and the camera changes so you can see the back seat. Was so happy I cried. Incredible character development and story.
Waiting for a really decent discount to buy the PS5-version and then I'll play them again. They're worth the price, without a doubt, but I've bought them several times now so I don't feel like paying much this time.
