Any recommendation on Bluetooth for my Mac Pro 5.1?

I am having bluetooth connection issues every time I switch from one bootable volume to another. I have disconnected the native bluetooth card my Mac Pro 5.1 has, using a Belkin Bluetooth 4.0 dongle instead (https://www.belkin.com/uk/p/P-F8T065/).
Do you guys have any recommendation? Could you help me out please?
