Tucano Finatex par iPad / 11".

Works perfectly. There is also an XS (extra small) version that I don't have, for 10" size only.

Have a look at be.ez (http://www.be-ez.com/), who makes amazing computer bags, but hard to find here in Canada. I have one for the MBP 13" (LA Besace classic) that I carried for 2.5 years almost daily.

+2 for the timbuk2 XS Messenger bag. Extremely well made and very well designed. Holds everything I need in addition to the iPad, keyboard, headphones, power accessories, etc. etc. etc.

I'd also recommend the bags from Waterfield Design. I have the iPad "Travel Express" that can hold the iPad along with the Incase Origami Workstation cover for the Apple Wireless keyboard. It's less than half the price of their Muzetto bag (though very different in concept) and works very well for occasions where a professional appearance is called for.

P.S. If you've never had a bag from Waterfield Design, you may not realize that their products wear like iron. I've had one of their Cargo bags for my laptop (and now for the iPad as well in the Travel Express case) for five years and half a million miles. It looks as good as the day I bought it.

MEC pod sling pack

More a pack than a purse.

I got mine pre-iPad, but it is a good snug fit. It sits on your back rather than dangling like a purse, but pulls around easily to the front with all the zippers in the upright position. Also has a frontside pocke for your iPhone. Quick release. Room for sunglasses, keys, etc in the back. (diapers and juice too of you are in that mode :)

I use a Golla G-Bag with a Tucano Second Skin folder for my iPad 2. As I'm a woman, I use it as a purse, but it doesn't really look like a purse and would be totally fine for men as well. Has extra room for keys, my wallet, e-book reader, etc. Not a TON of extra room, but the perfect amount for me.

Specifically, it has a main compartment (with magnetic flap) that is segmented into 2 - a spot for the iPad (and note that any sleeve thicker than the Tucano Second Skin would not fit in there) and a spot for other little things (this spot doesn't have a ton of space). On the front, it has a pretty big pocket that can actually hold a lot, and on the back it has another pocket that I find perfect for keeping my (thin) wallet in, since it is against my body that way. Both of these pockets have zippers.

Booq makes some nice bags for iPad like taipan xs I just got one even I dun have an iPad, nice protection in the iPad compartment and plenty of pockets for accessories inside as well

2nd for waterford - have two from them and they get looks wherever you go, more neat little features that I've seen anywhere, and wear like iron. Gary does it right, even down to the $25 cable zip bags with internal pockets. - and the bright gold lining that comes with every waterford product is ingenious, I can finally see down deep into the bag without a flashlight!

SFbags are nice http://www.sfbags.com/ and I've always been partial to InCase. The "diagonal" one strap bag I got ages ago for my MacBook has been going strong for years. Now it carries my iPad and plenty of chargers.

waterfield vertigo. Best bag company I have ever used (been buying bags from them for 7 years now) and I love this particular one, especially for the iPad. The yellow interior, as a previous poster noted, is ingenious.

I am a woman and I have the Muzetto 13 (in the brighter green color). I think it looks awesome, although I was complimented by a man this week on it.

I am debating between the 11 and the 13 for my iPad. My current bag is 12(h)x13(w), so the 13" seems closest at 14(h)x11(w).

Do you have pictures of your bag and what you typically put in it?

I kind of like the Vera Bradley mini laptop case. I don't have one but they look pretty nice and there's lots of girly patterns to choose from if you're female.

They range from $27 - $53 depending on the pattern.

Any recommendations for iPad bag with shoulder strap?

This is a great bag: http://www.levenger.com/Bags-11/Men...98/Bomber-Jacket-Tech-Traveler-Core-8055.aspx

I think it's nice that it's convertible. It's a little expensive, but the great thing with Levenger is that one may return anything at any time; they have absolutely the best customer service.

And no, I don't work for them, however I do purchase from them very frequently, and have done for years.

I like the looks and price of the Waterfield Design iPad cases. They are available with shoulder straps, but also without straps. www.sfbags.com

Oh yeah.... They're made in the USA, and that's especially good considering the more than reasonable price. ;)

Damn! I better get out of this accessories forum before I spend too much money. :)

I didn't realize this thread was resurrected from yesteryear but all links I click on that interested me still work and some items are even cheaper than what was listed on some of the posts!
